I'll start to break the ice. I'm Debi, owner and admin here at the PNF. I'm married with 3 grown boys and raising my great nephew who we call Mr. 17. I have 5 dogs (2 belong to Mr. 17 who came with them), one very old cranky cat, and live in the middle of nowhere south of Indianapolis. Throw in a sprinkling of grandchildren and a life long pursuit of paranormal knowledge, and you've got the basics. I cannot function without coffee, need a dose of chocolate daily (it's medicinal, say I), have a love of reality TV, retired professional from the health care field, and am the non- techie one of the team here.

I'm known as Debi, Owl, Bird, Ma Bird, or any combination of those here on the forum. I answer to hey you lady if needed! lol

You guys rock! This truly is an intimate and warm forum. Kinda makes me wonder what I’ve been missing since I’ve been away from paranormal postings for over 13 years.

Don’t know what you all would like to know but I’ll start with the easy part you could know from my skimpy profile - male of 55 years. In 17 year dedicated but not married relationship. I’m a technical trainer living in the South East. We have three rescue animals - two mutt dogs and a mutt cat.

Mostly I’m a psychic - probably life long - but learned it for certain by age 16. Mostly I unintentionally read other people’s thoughts (even when I’m asleep) and feel others’ feelings (even when I’m asleep); less frequently but not infrequently I see the future. Very rarely I manipulate energy or matter with intent. Studied first self-hypnosis then Wicca in hopes of learning to control all of this. Wicca didn’t really help.

Moving in with my girlfriend who is a semi-skeptic did the trick. Now frequency of psi/magick occurrences is only a couple of times a year.

Very interested in hearing others experiences. Having been at nearly opposite ends of the paranormal spectrum over 40 years has given me opportunity to contemplate some possible realities behind certain popularly reported phenomenon. For example, I have evolving ideas on past lives, mediums and fortune tellers, and to a lesser degree (with lesser exposures to) ghosts. I won’t blurt those ideas out but will elect to learn from you all so that I can refine my thinking on these subjects.

My sharing will almost always be long because I struggle to help readers interpret - as accurately as possible - what I am trying to convey.

By the way, it is my personal choice to always tell the truth sharing my knowledge to the best of my recollection. My experiences have been colorful; so my sharing will be the same.

Oh, I left out that I love chocolate and wine and savory foods. More important, my girlfriend has taught me during the past year to sincerely appreciate the Hallmark channel movies.

I cry at every happy or sad moment in every movie too. I was a basket case watching Mama Mia.

LOL We had a recent thread on what movies make you cry. Just bring me the dang box of Kleenex. Commercials make me cry. God help us if it's one involving animals....that takes an extra box.

I'm a bit of mystery around here. I've been here since the beginning, I just have trouble "opening up". I studied nautical archaeology and was an archaeologist a long time ago. T-Bob is also an archaeologist. The odds of two of us being on here must be astronomical! LOL! I have also been a business instructor, a software specialist, had my own business, and a few other strange jobs along the way. Currently, I am a Diversity Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

I have had minimal paranormal or unexplained experiences. I'm somewhat of a skeptic on some of the topics, but always try to keep an open mind. My favorite topics are probably Ufology and Cryptozoology.

I have two Whippets and a cat. One of the Whippets I just got as a rescue, and I am working on introducing him to the other two. Needless to say, the cat is NOT amused with the new house guest! :screamcat::screamcat:

I enjoy RVing, photography, watches, coin collecting, fountain pens, antique razors, and a few other hobbies I am probably forgetting.

That's SOME of me in a nutshell. Most of the other stuff is top secret and only Debi knows!

Love woodworking, painting ( but not a real artist...lol), and anything outdoors. Currently Live in Ga. but have lived in/visited/temporarily stayed in quite a few other states/locales..Been interested/drawn to the paranormal since my pre-teens, especially cryptids followed by archeology and history. Also love to stay on top of various conspiracy theories. Haven't joined a forum like this in quite a while, so I may be a little rusty or slow at times....if anyone has any questions, just ask, I really don't mind answering anything about myself, just not good at describing myself on my own, lol...

Now, Paul, ya did just fine! It's OK if you're slow or rusty. We work at a slower speed here anyway! It's good to know your interest areas as I try to find content for you guys that is of interest in your preferred areas.
