BIG WINTER IMPACTS

Blizzard Warnings are in place for wind gusts as high as 60 mph!

The combination of accumulating snow and intense north winds will produce widespread blowing and drifting snow.

Visibility will be near zero at times, especially on open rural highways.

Total snow accumulations will vary on location as this all moves from the SW to the NE.

- Colorado and New Mexico border - Total snow accumulations of 4 to 14 inches

- Western and central Oklahoma Panhandle and the northwestern Texas Panhandle - Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches

- Northern Kansas to Southern Nebraska - Total snow accumulations between 4 and 9 inches

- Portions of northeast Kansas and north central, northeast and northwest Missouri - Total snow accumulations of 5 to 11 inches

- Eastern Nebraska to Western Iowa - Total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches

- Central Iowa - Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches

- Far Northeast Nebraska and Northwest Iowa - Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches
