That is the one that comes to mind for me. I was riding a bus from school to home when I heard the news. My parents saved the newspaper from that day. I wonder if Dad still has that.
9/11. I was 5. The next day my mom took my sister and I to downtown Vancouver and there were "no war in Iraq" protesters. We sat down amongst them so I guess my mom was protesting with them?
Anyways my teacher told us the big news like it was no big deal. "So a plane crashed into a couple towers yesterday. So don't go for any plane rides for a while."
