What is there about 1939 that you don't like? It was the best year for movies, ever! And, you can add Stagecoach to the great movies from that year, as well as Gunga Din, Dark Victory, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, and Of Mice and Men!

I know! My other Ma was born in '39 and I always credit her with being created with other greats...

I haven't been to the movies since 1994. I'm sort of like Vibe's list. I generally don't see anything trendy for some reason - rebel I guess - but they don't do anything for me. No tear-jerkers, I have enough drama in my life. Prefer comedies, action, intrigue to straight drama.
