News Shaved kitty, anyone?

A Campbell River family has a hair-raising mystery on their hands as they try to figure out who has been shaving one of their pet cats.


Jo Jo Yarjau says it started in January, when the family noticed their cat Tabby was acting strange.


“She was just walking around and she wouldn’t let anybody touch her and she wouldn’t really eat,” Yarjau said. “She would just hide all day.”

Eventually, she went to pick the cat up and noticed she was missing a large swath of fur on her underbelly.

Okay, what kind of weird freak goes around shaving cats?

OK, just weird.

I've read stories of animals reacting this way to shaving. I've even seen Poms who pretty much go nuts when groomed into a Teddy Bear cut...they are very sensitive to loosing their fur. But why some weirdo is shaving cats?!!! You'd think they could find him just from the shredding the cat must have left behind from fighting back!

LOL. The cat is being abducted & sealed up seamlessly but the hair cannot be made to grow back.
