If you can't see the person sitting next to you, saying the splash was (no questions asked) a huge rock 30 yards away is a bit of a reach. Not saying it was or wasn't. Could've been anything splashing into the water. If it was a BF, if you show fear, wouldn't that just instigate more? If BF is an animal or some hybrid sort of human-like creature, you'd think they have that ability to sense things like people can (those gifted, that is). Way back there seemed to be acts of respect shown in regards to entering potential habitats. Guessing some or most modern men or women don't follow that and that's why they get chased away. These people were clearly looking for Big Foot if they had a copy of the Sierra Sounds with them to sound. Why would you look for something and then run away when it comes near you, then act like you had no idea what it could be. This really was either poorly written, made up or just a bunch of teens out looking for a thrill and got more than they bargained for. This is the type of people that make it hard for real researchers.
