Stay awake til midnight and then have ham, cornbread, mashed potatoes and black-eyed peas for dinner.

New Year's is very chilled by us. We have a new year's lunch as a family and nothing major. New year's eve, me and my friends take turns hosting a small braai. But the most unusual new year's eve I had was in 2010. Since my folks can't stay up late I was playing Minecraft online with my friends and we celebrated new year's at midnight on Minecraft. I ended up blowing up my friend's house but in my defense his TNT was badly placed :D
