which reminds me of something else from the 70's, though not really fondly... male gym shorts, just who thought putting 13 - 15 year old boys in those tight fitting short shorts was a good idea anyways., those were hard years that created nightmares that weren't easy to get over.

Blame the NBA and ABA (yes, there used to be two pro basketball leagues).

Kids wanted to dress like the pros, so it was tiny shorts and socks that almost covered your kneecaps!

I remember Chamberlain in that outfit, lol.

I was a bit more of a head banger but I grew up going to discos so the music reminds me now of good times and my youth.
