First, once again, welcome to the new server! And thanks sooo much to Bob for all his hard work and the very speedy move!
Second bit of news is all email alerts from the forum, with the exception of PM's, have been disabled. Our traffic has become so heavy (YAY) that we are actually showing up as spam out there for excessive emails (booo!). You will still receive alerts for PM's, but not on other threads.
And last but not least, we have discussed it, and we are going down to ONE thread a day out there on Live. It will be the show thread AND chat thread combined. Here are our reasons:
1. We have new people coming in who have no idea where to post. Very confusing for them...even some of you regular members aren't sure where to post at times.
2. This will give exposure to the show thread all day long. People will see it and know we are meeting on that thread in the evening.
3. Everyone can then see everything else that is posted. People are missing conversations and info because of running two threads.
4. Although we have massive power now, our speed will be fantastic with just one thread on there at a time.
5. There will be a thread daily, including a Sunday Chat thread.
Additionally, the live thread will not show "New" alert at times. You may have to open it to see what's there and who's posting. Not sure why that's happening at this point but will look into it if it doesn't clear on it's own.
