I was in during Viet Nam. I volunteered but did not go. The efforts towards the Viet Nam era veterens' is lame at best. Some of my comrades never came home (mentally). The help that current day veterens get is much better but still far short. The U. S. has never really taken care of them through out history. Lots of promises when you go in, very little when you comeback.

Yeah, for all they give of their lives, it is just horrible how veterans are treated once they leave the service.
