Palisades Tahoe ski resort closes after avalanche, ski patrol conducts search for victims

Palisades Tahoe ski resort is closed Wednesday following an avalanche around 9:30 a.m. Ski patrol is conducting a search for potential victims.

So much for letting the grief settle, they closed for the "rest of the day"! I would have thought closing for a few days would have been in order considering the dangerous conditions and out of respect. Business as usual, I guess. May the poor dead man rest in peace.
