4) Apparently some guns were modified to fire in a semi-automatic fashion. With the crowd so closely packed, it is possible one bullet went through 2 or three people. But if that is not the case, then this could support the theory in Question 2.
The weapons were all semi-automatic. The rifles were made to be like fully-automatic rifles with the use of the bump stock devices.

Non-automatic rifles/pistols, require a trigger pull for each round fired. Before the next shot can be taken, a fresh round has to be cycled into the chamber to be ready to fire. A semi-automatic (99% of the guns you see on TV unless it is a Western), The part of chambering the next round is "automatic" in that when a round is fired, the recoil chambers the next round to shoot without the shooter performing the task. It is mechanical, but is completed automatically. However, the shooter must still pull the trigger for each shot taken, the shooting is not automatic. What the Vegas shooter did (allegedly), was use legally purchased bump stocks to render the rifles as close to full-automatic as he could. Fully automatic rifles are completely different than semi-automatic weapons. These are guns that with ONE PULL of the trigger, will shoot continuously by automatically chambering and firing rounds until the magazine is empty. New, fully-automatic weapons have been banned since 1986. Can you still purchase a fully-automatic weapon? Yes, if it was manufactured before 1986, you are legally permitted to own guns in general, your state allows possession of automatic weapons, and you pay a fee to the ATF.

The .308/7.62 round of the AR-10 would definitely penetrate and go through rather than fracture, so you are correct, two or more bodies would be very likely with the packed crowd.

Okay, I'm not a big conspiracy nut either, but ask yourself who has the most to benefit? I'm not ultra paranoid either, but the ones with the most to gain by this style of attack, are those in power who want the guns banned. Not some stupid bump stock ban, but a gun ban. Registration maybe at first, under the United Nations "treaty" (gun registration), and then a full out ban. Second Amendment supporters had been making gains - more CC states, progress on state reciprocity, etc. The gun grabbers have been livid - politicians, Hollyweird, etc. They needed something big to stop the momentum of Amendment supporters. Even the NRA has had to throw the gun grabbers a bone, and want the bump stock issue looked at - slippery slope. Okay, enough of my "conspiracy theory".
I totally agree Sea

The dead and missing witnesses are really suspicious. This smells like a coverup to me.

Nope, not semi automatic. Semi auto means one round is fired for every press of the trigger, like a pistol. This was automatic fire you hear in the videos. And a 308 can’t just go through more than 2 people from that distance, the bullets will lose some of their kinetic energy.

I understand you may not be to familiar with firearms. I’ve shot them for most of my youth. These are still good theories and good questions to ask. They help us dissect what went wrong.

Also, the police have released official comments on the shooting, yet the story keeps changing. Not only are they adding things, but swapping out the old story for what clearly bull***t.

“Given that, I'm assuming, security against terrorism in the States is very tight, so getting an ISIS member into the States would be a very difficult task.”

Vibe-Feeler, you have no idea how right I wish you were on this. But the Islamic State recruits radicalized Muslims from all over a globe. You don’t need to send someone to America to kill people, you just need to find someone in America to radicalize and recruit.

I doubt isis is truly responsible. You’re spot on about isis taking blame for the event, as they will do anything to strike fear into America.

I sort of addressed this too in post 32:

Depending on the round used, the .308 could have penetrated two people fairly easily. Even at the distance shot, it still has so much more energy than the .223 for example.

Glad you readdressed that, Sea. Charleh, Sea has some qualifications in guns I am 100% sure you don't have, since I know his background. I would trust his take on this one. And no, he can't share what those qualifications are, but I can vouch for him on them.

Yeah, it really depends on the round again. Hollow point, no. Jacketed, fmj, then you're saying could hit two people, and under the right circumstances, possibly even hit a third with the right "luck", but not penetrate. Not enough to take out all three, but the possibility of penetration is there.

ATS has a long thread going on this. Lots of police calls from hotels. Has video, first hand accounts.
At this point, I smell a rat and the American people are being hoodwinked by the cops, casino owners and the media.
The thread is titled : Vegas Multiple Shooters/ Eyewitnesses Tell of Multiple Shooters at Multiple Casinos. I'm not linking it because the writer did a ton of hard work putting it together. Like holy cow, I respect the amount of time the writer put into it. Thread on right column, popular 30 day threads.
