The cars...I want the cars that could take a bump and not be considered totaled. Along with that, I'd like the gas prices from back then as well so I could afford to drive one of them.

I was going to say Muscle Cars. The 1970s marked the end of the Muscle Car Era. By the 1980s we had Sports Cars instead, cramped little 2 seaters made of light weight materials and stripped of extra features in an effort to improve power-to-weight ratio. Sure they have a lot of horsepower, but that doesn't necessarily translate into the same kind of torque at the wheels that Muscle Cars had.

Oddly enough, I think the closest analog we have today for a Muscle Car might be some of the so called "High Performance" Luxury Sedans.
 
Rusks were good. Being waited on hand and foot. Free Lego. Perfect eyesight. Teeth appearing rather than disappearing... People being impressed that I can walk and talk. I have to get really drunk to get that effect now.
