Once it's over, I am sooo done with the Christmas stuff! It's coming down ASAP. The boys are aiming at Thursday if I can't convince them sooner! lol

Lynne said in the chat thread, "we survived another year." That's exactly how I feel after it's done! I know...very Grinchy of me. I do have another reason, tho. These old ornaments tend to set off every allergy I have. Sooner they're back in the barn, sooner I feel better!

New Years Day is a rule of thumb that seems reasonable, depending on the weather. Christmas came too soon & left too early this year. Felt like last week we were lighting fireworks and trading ice tea recipes.:)

No kidding on the time! December is one big blur to me!

We must have the same calendar Sea. One moment I’m carving a turkey and sharing thanks and the next minute I’m hunting for internet buys offering same-day drone delivery so as not to miss the 25th.

There are no such thing as leftovers. That sounds like 2nd class food. :( How about First Class Sandwiches ? :)
Ham, here I come again. To honor you on rye !

New Year’s Day on the years I decorate. After lindsey grew up and left home there didn’t seem to be a reason to bother. I must admit tho, I really enjoyed my little tree this year. I guess I’ll make the effort next year. Which will seem like next month....I should just slide it in the closet :D

LOL There IS a new trend to do just that! I've seen people wrap the fake trees in some sheets or saran wrap and just slide them away until next year. If I had the closet space, it would be a good idea!
