Getting to know you....

Hi Shadows on the Wall. I'm Paintman and put paint on the wall. Eerie similarity. :p

Hello Shadow and welcome to the PNF.net. I go by the abbreviated name of "Wands". As Paintman did, you will find that users here will refer to you with all kinds of variations on your name. I'll read your post this evening when I'm not just on a break.

Well, I freely admit to getting names not quiet right sometimes.
For example, I get baseball players names wrong often. Guys like Dave Ruth, Dickie Mantel, Billy Mays, and Frenchy Jackson. :(

Thank you for providing such a wonderful location for likeminded people to share experiences, information, skills, tips, build friendships, etc.! What a great place you have created and I am thankful to have stumbled upon it! Thank you again & hugs, Dyana

Side Note: I am totally new to anything forum based so I tried to figure out how to post on the intro thread but it escapes me, man it sucks being behind on the technological curve of things, hehehe!
A little late, but welcome! I guess I'm not new anymore! I hope you figure out how it all works and look forward to hearing more from you. :)

Howdy. I'm not much sure what to say about myself. My life isn't all that interesting. I'm 46 years old and have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Sociology and Psychology, with post undergraduate work in Religious and Existential Philosophy. My day job is a server and my passion is writing YA novels. I'm a big hippie, (hence my vocation choices,) a non-judgmental vegetarian and, generally speaking, open minded about all things.

Oh. And I seem to have the spirits of two young children attached to me. There's that.

Let's be clear... I have never seen them. They are, however, extremely clever in finding ways to communicate with me. They leave me dimes in unlikely places to let me know they're my friends. They play pranks on me... hiding my things, giving me gifts... they've even found a way to introduce themselves. Their names are Andrea and Susan. I'm pretty sure they're sisters.

I have always believed in ghosts. Still, the idea that spirits can take physical objects and move them? The idea that they can hack my cell phone and facebook? That seems a bit out there.

Only, when enough 'impossible' events occur, the logical thing is to look outside the box.

I'm not interested in 'cold spots' or 'EMFs.' My two little spirit friends programmed a phone number into my new cell phone. They stole my change purse and gave it back, a week later. They constantly taunt one of my co-workers who doesn't believe in them... and occasionally leave dimes for my co-workers who do believe. And tonight? Tonight they confirmed that, yes... they are just two. Yes, they are sisters. And yes... all my assumptions about what they are trying to say is true.

I've contacted countless 'paranormal research' societies. All of them balk when I talk about physical objects disappearing and reappearing. It's like they take 'Ghost Hunters' as scripture.

Two little spirits... Andrea and Susan... are reaching out to me.
I seem to be going backwards as I already replied to your topic, but having done that... Hello!

Greetings,

Now a little bit about myself...I've had an interest in the paranormal for as long as I can remember, though until relatively recently I would get easily spooked by anything I would see related to it, particularly on TV or even hearing of peoples' experiences. It would happen that after seeing/reading/hearing about some alleged occurrences, I would often end up being paranoid or too scared to sleep. Following some experiences, I've outgrown that at least for the most part. While I have my beliefs (based on religious beliefs) of what is behind paranormal occurrences, I find it interesting to interact and share with those who are open minded about this kind of stuff.

I've had limited experiences of my own, though I have had an opportunity to see more with some experience with Ruqya, which is often mistaken to mean Islamic exorcism though it is not restricted to that. Through this I've had opportunities to get a glimpse of what others have experienced, including their accounts of encounters with entities and even in some cases having a chance to speak to the latter myself. Well, that is all I can think of for now in terms of an intro. I look forward to hanging around here, reading thoughts and experiences of others and even sharing some of my own.
Welcome, Soul Edge! :) I hope you enjoy what you find here. This is a very friendly forum and it sounds like you've had some interesting experiences, so whenever you feel ready I'd love to read more and read your views and ideas on other topics.

Hello Everyone!
Just signed up today, and I'm really liking this forum already!!

Just turned 30 in November, no kids, never married, and I'm female. I work in a gambling cafe...literally, a gambling cafe. Lol. I love my job, and I love the paranormal. Besides having a minor ability myself. I love hearing about other people, and what they can do :)

So I hope I can get to know you all and get to be good friends.
Welcome aboard, Shadows! Until now I never knew that a cafe could gamble, so I've learned something new already. :p And what is this ability? Have fun!

Hi everyone. I've always been fascinated in the paranormal, and have had quite a few bizarre experiences of my own. The ufology aspect of the paranormal is most interesting to me, although I like to be open minded as well. I'm from the UK. I live in England, just down the road from Stonehenge.
